HOW TO GET TO BAMPTON FROM THE M5

Leave the M5 at Junction 27 and take the A361 towards Barnstaple. At the first roundabout turn right. At the next roundabout turn right. Enter Bampton and turn left towards South Molton. The church is on the left. There is ample parking in the Station Road car park. There is also a public toilet between the car park and the church.

There are several pubs in Bampton.

HOW TO GET TO HUNTSHAM FROM THE M5

There is no simple route to Huntsham, which is approached via numerous narrow Devon lanes. The following is the simplest route, although not the shortest.

Leave the M5 at Junction 27 and take the A361 towards Barnstaple. At the first roundabout turn right. Turn right at Cove. Straight ahead at the first two cross roads and follow the road around to the left at the third cross roads. Enter Huntsham and look for the War Memorial on the left. Turn off left keeping the War Memorial on the left. Take sharp right turn into the church lane. There is parking for approximately ten cars. There is no toilet and no village pub. The nearest pub is at Staple Cross.

HOW TO GET TO HUNTSHAM FROM BAMPTON

Take the road to Wiveliscombe from Bampton and within one mile, at Hukeley Bridge, turn sharp right. Follow the road to Huntsham. At Huntsham keep to the right at every junction. Pass the entrance to Huntsham Court and look for the War Memorial. Turn right at the War Memorial and sharp right again into the church lane.

HOW TO GET TO BAMPTON FROM HUNTSHAM

At the end of the church lane turn sharp left and then left at the War Memorial, and continue past the entrance to Huntsham Court . Turn left out of Huntsham and continue on this road until the T-junction with the Bampton/Wiveliscombe road. Turn left towards Bampton. In Bampton continue on the one way system keeping the petrol pumps on your right (do not turn left into Bampton's main street at this point). You will then see the church on your left. Turn left in front of The Swan Inn and right into the car park. There is a public toilet between the car park and the church. There are several pubs in Bampton.
